Evening, Bonita & Raymond... I can almost taste that delicious salad all the way down here on lake Ontario! I've always made my Nana's potato salad recipe - but you've given me some great ideas...putting the onion in to boil with the potatoes, and adding apple chunks is wonderful. I always find some comfort here when visiting your kitchen. I've been going through some very rough waters, and coming here helps cheer me up. Thank you, and God bless always...

Hi Bonita, as a N.S’ian I am embarrassed to say I have never been to NFLD but I would love to visit there one day. I totally enjoy your videos and know that you cook as real as we do here in N.S. Please keep up the videos as I always learn something. BTW, do you guys make Hodge Podge over there? It is definitely a summer staple here.

People eat like garbage today and wonder why there is so much obesity and health issues. Insurance companies and pharmacies must love it!!! I know it's a viewers request...but there really should be a vegetable.

The sweetness of the apples and the saltiness of the bacon must be a nice and tasty match. While the potatoes remain kind of neutral.

Hi my New Fundland friends. I had to do a double take when I saw you putting in apples in a potato salad. All other ingredients is exactly what I put in my potato salad. However, I am game to try the apples next time I make potato salad. I know that just like the celery gives it a little crunch, the apples would also. But does it add sweetness to?. Oh my goody ! I never bbqed my cod before and my goodness it’s my favourite fish too. I love your BBq sauce Bonita. The cod fish your brother in law gave you looked amazing. What a beautiful day there I bet it was very enjoyable being out on such a lovely day. Great tip about having the carrots and onion there to protect cod fish from burning to the pan.
